Michael Reveres Tax Partner FCA FTII

Michael is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser. He is the founder and now President of the Harrow Branch of The Institute of Chartered Tax Advisers. He is well placed with his specialist support team to advise clients on a wide range of tax issues. The Lord Chancellor has appointed him as a General Tax Commissioner. Accordingly, clients have good representation before the Tax Appeal Commissioners. He is a well-known speaker at the firm's seminars and elsewhere.

He has been appointed a member of the Working Together Initiative, which is collaboration between the Inland Revenue and Tax Advisers. The Initiative advises on the means by which the tax system can be made to work better.

Michael with his team is responsible for the firm's personal and corporate tax compliance.

Michael applies his vast knowledge and experience to provide structured advice on a wide range of tax issues. The international dimension of the practice has means that Michael deals with many cases involving clients' migration to the United Kingdom where a full tax planning and advisory service are provided.

Shailesh Patel FCA

Shailesh underwent his Articles with KPMG London and qualified with first time passes as a Chartered Accountant in 1987. After a post qualification period of approximately 2 years he moved to Price Waterhouse initially in their Owner Managed Business Unit and then as a Tax Manager in a mainstream tax department.

Shailesh was one of the founding partners of Macilvin Moore and has been actively serving the needs of owner managed businesses in particular with tax planning and business development issues. Shailesh has significant experience in dealing with clients with an international direction and prides himself in providing professional advice in a commercial context with solutions rather than problems, to assist in achieving his client's goals.

Shailesh has also been actively advising clients in the property sector, liaising on their behalf with law firms and banks to ensure smooth completion of transactions.


David Segall FCCA

David has worked in general practice for over 30 years, qualifying in 1977 and being raised to Fellowship in 1982. He has extensive experience in advising individuals and SMEs on all aspects of audit and accounts including IT solutions and implementation.

Widely experienced in tax compliance including investigation and enquiry work, his persistence recently successfully concluded a 6-year enquiry on behalf of a client and obtained one of the largest ever compensation awards paid by the Inland Revenue, with the Inland Revenue having to rewrite part of their procedures manual.

David's role includes the delivery of the rich set of tried and tested Added Value Tools to forward looking and visionary businesses.

David is currently the firm's Managing Partner responsible for all aspects of the firm's activities.

Pankaj Rajani FCA

Pankaj qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in 1987 with first time exam passes in the Institute's examinations. He then moved to Coopers & Lybrand as a Senior Manager of a Small Business Services Group. Pankaj was one the founding partners of Macilvin Moore in 1990 and has been instrumental in the organic growth of the firm since then, up until the recent merger.

Pankaj has advised clients from a wide range of industries spanning all the continents and his excellent network of contacts has enabled him to successfully assist clients achieve their broader goals.

In recent years, Pankaj has been actively involved with Corporate Finance type transactions requiring substantial negotiating skills, as well as experience of dealing with other advisors within the legal and banking disciplines. The corporate finance role is extended to include introduction to strategic JV partners and investor

Harish Gaglani AAPA

Harish has worked in commerce and general practice for over 30 years. He has extensive experience in advising individuals, partnerships and SMEs on accounting, audit, taxation and in providing a boardroom view on strategic and/or management aspects of the business.

Harish has advised clients from a wide range of businesses including the organising of start up finance. He has assisted clients with systems and set up administrative controls.

Besides general practice, his role includes the delivery of tried and tested tools to facilitate inward investment from overseas entrepreneurs and he is a liaison partner with the DTI.
